Nitrosamine Reduction Taking the Genie Out the Bottle
Adare Pharma Solutions and Aptar CSP Technologies recently partnered to study a packaging-based solution to nitrosamine mitigation. This study utilized a highly engineered solution employing active materials to develop a nitrosamine mitigation film, N-Sorb.
The study found N-Sorb captures and removes volatile nitrosamine precursors in the package headspace, reducing nitrosamine formation by up to 28% in testing.
